College offers 13 combinations (see Table 2) from which a student may choose the subjects in which she may like to pursue her higher studies or career in life. The combinations of subjects are from 4 Academic subjects and 4 Vocational subjects listed in Table 1.
An important feature of BA Programme at Bharati College is their student association “Kalrav”.
“kalrav” stands out as a unique and diverse community within the academic landscape. The BA programme, known for its eclectic combination of subjects, brings together students from various disciplines, creating a vibrant and inclusive space for intellectual exchange. Built on the values of unity in diversity, “Kalrav” offers a forum for BA programme students to participate in diverse academic, cultural and extra-curricular pursuits. The society hosts stimulating discussion, cultural functions and educational ventures that promote interdisciplinary explorations. “Kalrav” justifies the meaning of its name i.e. chirping of birds: aims to empower its members to soar beyond limitations, akin to the liberation of birds from crippling constrains. Its objectives include fostering intellectual freedom, breaking down social barriers to knowledge and promoting diversity of thought. Through stimulating discussions and cultural events, it encourages members to explore diverse perspectives, challenging them to break free from social chains. By nurturing a supportive community, “kalrav” endeavors to inspire creativity and curiosity, enabling members to spread their wings and reach new heights of academic and personal growth.

The Department of Human Development & Family Empowerment (HDFE) at Bharati College was started in 1984, under the parent Department of Home Science, offering HDFE as an optional course in B.A Programme.
